I'm sure there are many people who come here that have never modded an axe and are intimidated by the idea. Any of the more experienced guys want to outline some Rules or steps for Modding an axe that a Newbie (like me) would understand. Such as, "Where do you start", "What's the best axe to experiment with", "What simple tools should you have"? Any help would be appreciated.

I find that cheap instruments can be great depending on the parts.
Like squiers.


First you want to state your goal.
Then state what you want.
Then BUDGET your items.

Then research how to do each step.

Yeah! What is it you want to do? Just everything?

Btw you need screw drivers. A 30 watt soldering iron.... An allen wrench set. Thats about it.
